New, smaller carton packaging for LUCENTIS
(ranibizumab injection) 0.5mg

The new LUCENTIS carton is smaller and the orientation has changed from vertical to horizontal. Additionally, the carton will be glued shut at the front. To open, simply push and break the perforated semicircle. The contents inside the carton will remain the same. The updated size does not affect the National Drug Code or list number. Please see the table below that compares the dimensions of the current carton to the new carton:

Please note: These changes will not affect the safety, efficacy, or reliability of the products you already have. The new carton is only for commercial drug packaging at this time. All LUCENTIS samples will continue using previous dimensions until 2012.
